Visa Subclass 101 allows children of Australian citizens or permanent residents to migrate to Australia with their parents who are living in Australia.
The child must be:
- The biological or adopted child of the sponsoring parent
- Aged between 18-25 and a full-time student financially dependent on the sponsoring parent, or over 18 and unable to work due to a complete or partial loss of their bodily or mental functions
- Single (cannot be engaged to be married, in a de facto relationship or married)
- A child adopted outside Australia must have been adopted before the sponsoring parent became an Australian citizen or permanent resident or held a permanent visa for Australia.
