Child visa subclass 101

Visa Subclass 101 allows children of Australian citizens or permanent residents to migrate to Australia with their parents who are living in Australia.

The child must be:

• The biological or adopted child of the sponsoring parent
• Aged between 18-25 and a full-time student financially dependent on the sponsoring parent, or over 18 and unable to work due to a complete or partial loss of their bodily or mental functions
• Single (cannot be engaged to be married, in a de facto relationship or married)
• A child adopted outside Australia must have been adopted before the sponsoring parent became an Australian citizen or permanent resident or held a permanent visa for Australia.
